Technopole maritime du Québec has cited SLGO as an example in its summer 2008 news bulletin. The St. Lawrence Global Observatory is described as an initiative harnessing the various strengths involved in the management and the use of the St. Lawrence. Its governance model and its use of information technologies have already noticed abroad.
